"Angura" is from the japanese word "andagurando" [eng. "Underground"].
Angura-Kei's mode and style is more important than the music and has been around since late 60's and 70's. These groups often wears traditional, japanese clothes (for example: Kimonos). These groups make themselves look however they want (make-up etc.).
It can't be said that Angura-Kei groups have any connection in the music. The name developed more because of the clothes than the music.
